Top places to go in Prague

The centre of Prague is made up of 4 areas, The new town (Nove Mesto) from the 1400s, The old Town ( Stare Mesto) from even earlier,The lesser quarter (Mala Strana) and the Castle (Hradcany), the last two of these are across the Charles bridge which crosses the Vltava river that flows through the town

Pubs

Old town.
U Vejvodu - Jilska 4 - Pilsner Urquell Beer - Big place the entrance bar leads down a stair to a large beer cellar, food is typical czech grub pretty heavy.

Caffreys Irish Bar - Staromestske Namesti - Irish pub with full Irish Breakfasts. Lots of Ex pats. Good place . Used to go there loads. Live music some nights.

James Joyce - Liliova - Another Irish pub, very good beer and atmosphere.Regulars friendly, pulled a couple of times there (yes really).

U Medvidku- Na Pernstyne- Budvar on Tap - Bar and restaurant here, the bar is quite small and the restaurant is very touristy however its worth it for the beer

Kozicka - kozi 1 - An underground labyrinth, nearly always crowded good beer, near to Caffreys so ideal if attempting a pub crawl.

Radegast Pub - Templova 2 - Fairly basic Czech pub/restaurant but the
